JACKSONVILLE  -  Jo Ann Odom, a precious wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Christian friend went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2025. She was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Walter and Emily Fuller. As the wife of a Marine she lived many places, but spent the majority of her life in Jacksonville, NC until chronic illness necessitated she move to Garner, NC to be cared for by family. In Jacksonville she enjoyed a career as a dental hygienist and volunteer work. She especially loved being and serving with her church family at Lutheran Church of our Savior.

Jo Ann was predeceased by her husband David Odom. She is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Jackie, daughter Beth, and son Scott. She loved her grandchildren Ally, Ethan, Allan, Jessica (husband Lacy), Jeri (husband Anthony), Daniel, and Joel (wife Sydney). She cherished her great grandchildren Cheyenne, McKinley, Brooklynn, Kori, Alex, Emma, and Hank.

Visitation will be at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Jacksonville NC an hour prior to the Memorial Service 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery
