Joan Francene Victor Barber, 74, of Jacksonville, North Carolina died Thursday, June 5, 2025 at her home.

A funeral to celebrate Joan's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, NC. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM immediately before the service at the funeral home.

Joan is proceeded in death by her parents, George and Doris Victor. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Doug Barber; son, Kevin Barber; grandchildren, Laine and Reese; sisters, Tammy, Vicky, and Georgette; loving nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joan's name to Saint Jude.
