Hubert- Joanne L. Anameier, 87, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 16,2024 with her family by her side. She was born May 31,1937 in Toronto, Canada, a daughter of the late Douglas and Lillian Woodrow Craddock.

As a loving mother Joanne raised her family in Mt. Marion, New York.  In 1989 she married her sweetheart Frederick Anameier.  The two later settled in Hubert, NC where she enjoyed a life full of adventure.

Through the years, Joanne loved to travel, exploring country roads on the back of a motorcycle and adventuring on many cruise lines.  While at home she loved to cook, crochet, and sit on the porch overlooking the flowers and birds.  Her greatest blessing was spending time with her family and friends.  Known for her cheerful disposition and wide smile. A friend to all that had met her.  She will be missed more than words can say.

Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Frederick Anameier;  son, Dave Jankowski (Cissy) of Swansboro, NC; daughters, Sue Clausi (Richard) of Calabash, NC, Christine Anameier (Aaron) of Mesa, AZ, and daughter-in-law, Terry Jankowski Reed of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bruce and Douglas Craddock both of FL.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Jankowski, Jr.; granddaughter, Brittany Morgan Jankowski; and brother, Bill Craddock.

A private celebration of life will be held at the family home at a later date.
