Richlands – John Wayne Atkins, Jr., 51, of Richlands, North Carolina passed away on August 25, 2026, at his residence.

John was born on August 14, 1975, in Richmond, Virginia to the late John Atkins, Sr. and Donna Todd. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Janet Atkins.

He is survived by his children, Breanna and Bailey (Becca); Grandchildren, Summer and Brooklyn; Siblings, Ricky Todd; Stepmother, Mary Talley; Sister-in-law, Christina Hayes; His Aunts, Barbra Todd, Mary Ann (Mike), Sharon; Uncles, Doug Atkins (Mary); Special cousin Lisa Mountjoy and many more cousins.
