John Anthony Castellano 48, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday. He was born in Hollywood, FL and was a resident of Hubert, NC. He was also a longtime resident in Connecticut and in Brevard County FL.

He was employed by Phoenix Management Inc. on Camp Lejeune as a heavy equipment mechanic and at Countermeasures Investigations in Southington CT for many years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years Maria Anna Castellano, his children Mia Castellano, Gianni (Gino) Castellano, of Hubert NC, Heather McBurney of Maysville, NC, Michael of Pensacola, FL and four grandchildren Liana and Remington McBurney of Maysville, NC, Xander Rogers and Xayden Crasso both of Cocoa, FL.

He is also survived by his sisters Jennifer Rosamelia of West Palm Beach, FL, Janine Castellano of Lehigh Acres, FL and his brother Joseph Castellano of CT, his Uncles Benjamin of Staten Island NY and Leonard Castellano of Canadensis, PA as well as his aunts, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is predeceased by his daughter Gianna Lynn Castellano, his father Peter Joseph Castellano of Brooklyn, NY and his mother Carol Fearnow of Hartford, CT.

His family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Saturday October 7th 2017 from 10am to 11am with funeral service to follow at Jones Funeral Home of Onslow County 303 Chaney Ave. Jacksonville, NC 28540
