Jacksonville - John Howell Jobe, 79, died at his residence in Jacksonville, NC on November 21st, 2014. Mr. John was the son of the late Harry Gray Jobe and Pauline Rogers. A funeral is planned for 2:00PM on Monday, November 24th, 2014 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Jacksonville with a Military Chaplin officiating. Full Military Honors is planned with burial to follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mr. John is survived by one half-sister; Christine Lincicome of Zanesville, Ohio.
Mr. John retired from the USMC after 27 years of service with a rank of Master Gunnery Sargent. He was also a member of the Devil dogs.
A visitation will be held on Sunday November 23rd 2014 from 4:00-6:00PM at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
