Maysville- John Richard Muntjanoff, 91, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 17, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born December 29, 1933 in Aurora, IL a son of the late Nicholas and Alma Rickert Muntjanoff.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

John was a design engineer for Caterpillar Inc and love to spend time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis Boergeroff Muntjanoff of the home; children, Cheryl Payne (Michael, Sr.) of Maysville, Dale Tucker (Sonya) of Aurora, IL, and Heidi Muntjanoff of Batavia, IL; and eight grandchildren and several great, and great-great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by three sons, Gary Tucker, Larry Tucker, and Jim Tucker.
