John Thomas "JT" Smith, 82 passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, a day before his 83rd birthday.  Preceded in death by his parents; William E. and Mary E. Sykes Smith, son, William T. Smith, brothers, Thomas and Thurman, sisters, Lucy, Thelma and Virginia.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Enon Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, CM "Sherry" Smith, his daughter; Misty Dawn Vallario (Michael), sons; John E. Smith (Cindi) and Daniel Smith (Susan). his sisters, Jane Peters and Liz Downey.  2 grandchildren; Travis and Danielle, and 3 great grandchildren; Adelyne, Avery and Laken.
