Johnathon Daniel Witte, 47, of Richlands, passed away on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at Naval Medical Center- Camp Lejeune.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at Blue Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Josh McCord officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Johnathon loved his family, his church and his country. In his spare time he enjoyed several hobbies and pass times. His dream was to become a pilot. He spent the last moments of his life doing what he loved most, flying. He took his final flight Sunday when he entered eternal rest into the arms of Jesus.

Johnathon is survived by his children and their mother; Leea Witte of Jacksonville, Johnathon Witte, II, of Jacksonville, and Cindy Witte; his parents, Debra and Richard Witte; brother, Douglas Witte; sister, Laura Witte of Fl; nieces, Katlin Witte of Fl and Sofia; and his faithful companion that served as his service dog, Daisy.
