Sneads Ferry – Jonathan Nigel Briggs, 64, of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina passed away on August 21, 2025, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mr. Briggs was born on July 7, 1961, in England to George Briggs and Rene Hastings. He is preceded in death by his father, George A. Briggs and brother, Timothy Briggs.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kimberly Avant Briggs; children, Anthony J. Mazza (Cassidy), and George A. Briggs; mother, Rene Hastings Briggs; brother, Michael Briggs (Sheila); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM
