Joni Marie Hart, 71, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. A memorial service will be held later this summer in Birmingham, AL.

She was a member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for 37 years. Joni was happiest when surrounded with family and friends and embodied the characteristic of a servant's heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Jean Hart.

Survivors include her son Shaun and his wife Shanna, her beloved grandchildren Judson and Briley. Her sisters Jane Perry (Clyde), Janis Raley (Ray). Her Niece and Nephews Micah Perry (Rebekah), Lydia Perry, Samuel Perry (Ellie), Christopher Russell (Ryan), James Raley (Dominique) and great nephews Jeremiah, Gabriel, and Nathan.
