Joshua "Josh" David Ward, 31 of Jacksonville, passed away Friday afternoon, February 4th, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville on Thursday afternoon at 1 PM. The family will receive friends from 11 – 1 on Thursday, 2 hours prior to the service. A graveside committal will be held following the service at the Coastal Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery with full USMC honors.

Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles A. Ward. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ali Ward, of the home; his beloved son Remington "Remi" Ward of the home; his mother Sherril Fox and husband Darin of Plattsburg, MO; father Kirk Ward of Springfield, AR; sisters Amanda Gutheil and husband Nick of Delaware, OH, Chyann Perrier and husband CJ of Wrightstown, NJ and Zoe Fox of Bellevue, NE; brother Quentin Fox of Gainesville, FL; paternal grandmother Barbara Ward of Russellville, AR; Maternal grandparents Bob and Bonnie Roller of Kansas City, MO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his lifelong best friend and "brother from another mother" Jordan Myers.
