Richlands- Joyce Marie Tipton, 72, of Richlands, NC died on July 17, 2021 at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Joyce was born on January 12, 1949 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Joyce spent her childhood growing up in Kinston, NC with her late parents James and Cleo Casper.

Besides her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jeana Barbee.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Paul Tipton of the home; her daughters, Paula Dover (Scott) of Richlands, NC and Ginger Tipton of Richlands, NC; brother, Eddie Casper (Terry) of Kinston, NC; grandchildren, Emanuel Santiago, Cody Crews, Mikel Santiago, Kayla Hutchings, Brandon Hutchings, and Harleigh Barbee; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Gospel Chapel First Church of God with a graveside to follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
