Jacksonville – Judith Ann Lanier, 79, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away on July 12, 2026, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial will immediately follow at Hicks Run Cemetery.

Judith was born on October 22, 1946, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Enoch Foy and Ruby Padgett Foy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Rochelle.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Lanier; daughter, Deborah Sinclair (David); son, Eddie Lanier; and grandchildren, Colby Quinn, Rawlin Sinclair, Reece Sinclair, and Hargett Rochelle; sister, Katie Cottle; and several extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
