Obituary

SWANSBORO  -  Karon Fay James Booth, 73, of Swansboro, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Booth was born November 24,1948 in Eldon, MO one of six daughters born to the late, Ronald Earl and Ruby Sarah Taylor James.

She was a factory worker and the wife of a marine who always keep the home safe and ready for when her marine returned home.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Stover, Shirley Gassaway, and Malinda James.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John E. Booth of the home; daughter, Bobbie Jo Booth Ebersole (Lance) of the home; son, Billy Joe Booth (Crystal) of Sandford; grandchildren, Aaron Roy, Lucas, Kayleigh, and Jonny Mac; great grandchild, Bjorn; and sisters, Irene Brown of CA and her twin Sharon Vaughn of Eldon, MO.
