In Loving Memory of Kevin Wayne Morgan
Kevin Wayne Morgan, born March 14, 1955, in Kansas, passed peacefully at home on June 13, 2026, in Jacksonville, NC, where he had made his home since the 1970s. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Kevin lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and devotion to his family. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps before building a respected career as a master mechanic. There wasn't a repair he couldn't make—from ATVs and motorcycles to appliances, cars, trucks, and more. Whether serving his nation or helping others with his mechanical expertise, Kevin approached every task with integrity, skill, and determination.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Buck and his mother, Agatha.
Above all, Kevin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife Cindy Morgan of more than 20 years, along with his four daughters: Tiffany (Josh) of California, Sue (Brian) of North Carolina, Mary of West Virginia, and Cecilia (Jeffrey) of West Virginia.
Kevin was a proud and cherished Papaw to 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and the memories he created with them will be treasured for generations.
Kevin will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his willingness to lend a helping hand, his sense of humor, and the deep love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy of service, strength, and family devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
