Kier Edward Pajak, 57, of Richlands, NC died on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. A visitation will be held at Jones Funeral Home in Richlands, NC on October 27th from 5-7pm.

Kier was a man who lived to serve his neighbor as an expression of his faith. Born in Albany, NY and transplanted to Richlands, NC, through his years serving in the USMC, Kier quickly became rooted in the community. He was loyal, generous, handy, and loved being outdoors. Kier was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Joan Pajak.

Kier is survived by his wife, Cynthia Pajak, six children, Regina Cook, Morgan Pajak, Maria Marie, Rafael Pajak, Isaura Pajak, and Jaidyn Pajak; two grandchildren, Nicole and Logan Cook. He is also survived by three siblings, Kenneth Pajak and his wife, Robin, Leon Pajak Jr. and his wife, Shirley, and sister Kelly Chance. John and Michelle Collins have been lifelong friends to Kier and his family.

He honored his parents in how he lived out pieces of who they were such as finding joy in little things, like his mother and being skilled with his hands like his father. Kier was always willing to stop and pray over someone or give them encouragement when needed. Kier loved to fish, work in the garden, and go camping.
