Kimberly Torbit, 62, passed on May 20, 2025, at ECU Health in Greenville, NC. She loved being a mother and a Mimi and loved her six furry pets. She was a retired employee of Onslow County Department of Social Services.

Kim was born October 16, 1962, in Sanford, Florida to the late James and Evelyn Torbit.

She is survived by Keith Waugh, a love story that began over thirty years ago; her son Kevin Torbit, wife Jenell; grandchildren Zayla, Lennon, Annessa, and Arlo; sister Donna Craft, husband Virgil; nephew and niece Kyle and Brooke Torbit; nephew Matthew Robinson, wife Amanda; great niece and nephew Donna and Duncan Robinson, and other family members including Sandy Torbit and Teresa Waugh.

Visitation will be held at 9:00AM on Tuesday May 27th one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
