Swansboro - Kurt D. Breither, 72, died November 11, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgeport, CT he and his family relocated to North Carolina 20 years ago.

Kurt worked in the IT industry for over 30 years. Upon moving to NC he and his wife became the owners of Elly's Gifts in Emerald Isle. Kurt was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Warren O. Breither, his mother Marjorie T. Dunn and a brother Keith. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, son, Cameron, and siblings, Cheryl Holden (William), Warren Breither (Shujie), and Lynn Daly (Laurence) along with several nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
