"Family" was everything to Kurt. And Kurt was everything to our family. The epitome of the "fun uncle", Kurt was known for a contagious laugh, an absolutely irresistible charm, a penchant for Western movies-where the good guy-always saves the day, double pours of Crown Royal Whiskey and last but certainly not least, a signature mustache that would rival even the likes of Tom Selleck. If you asked Kurt to describe himself-he would say he was a "farm boy". If you asked friends to describe Kurt- they would say he was "a ladies man". However, if you asked our family to describe Kurt, we would say " he was the heart and soul of our generation".
