Larry Mitchell Padgett, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Hillarie Padgett, and his brother, Arnold Padgett.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Pineland Presbyterian Church with Pastor David Love officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Vicky Rawls Padgett. He is also survived by his son, Cory Padgett, Cory's wife, Ashley, and their children, Brayden and Ryland, all of Creedmoor, NC. Other survivors include his mother, Pauline Parker Padgett, his sister, Wanda Gray, Wanda's husband, Greg, all of Tar Landing, his sister-in-law, Pam Padgett, and numerous nieces and nephews.
