HUBERT -  Laura Frances Andrews Leblanc, 85, of Hubert, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at her home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday October 4, 2024 at St. Mildred Catholic Church with Rev. Dave Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lenlancwas born November 11,1938 in Bristol, CT a daughter of the late Harold and Frances Neal Andrews.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Bruno Leblanc of the home; children, Mark Leblanc of Hubert, Elaine Rahiminejad of Wilmington, NC, Wayne Leblanc of Lewisburg, WV, Katherine Stewart of Savannah, GA, Joseph Leblanc of Wilmington, NC, and Frances Wallace of Cumming, GA; and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Family, friends, and others are invited to Jones Funeral Home, Swansboro Chapel to reminisce and honor the life of Laura on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm.

Laura loved to sing and play the piano and lovingly served her Lord and church as the Organist, Choir Director, and Director of Religious Education for many years. As her children were growing, she was enthusiastically involved in their many activities including the Boy Scouts, 4-H Club, and sporting events. She volunteered her time at the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.

Flowers are welcomed or memorials may be made to St. Mildred's Catholic Church Building Fund, St. Mildred's Helping Hands for Hope Ministry or NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.
