Laura Jean Atkins, 61 years old, born on June 27, 1963 in Long Island New York to Mr. and Mrs. John A. Welch, passed away on March 20, 2025.

Laura is survived by her husband and soulmate of over 30 years Ralph Davis Atkins and his daughter Amanda Summers. She had four siblings, Billy Welch, Kathy Sunday, and Terry Witt, her youngest brother John Welch Jr. whom predeceased her. She also had many nieces and nephews, some by blood and many in her heart.

She was an amazing wife, step-mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was also an avid animal lover, especially her cats, stray or not. She also loved to play pool.

She will be truly missed.
