Jacksonville – Lawrence “Larry” A. Sullivan, 86, passed away at his home on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Services will be private.

Larry was born and raised in Queens, New York City. He honorably served his country for 21 years umtil his retirement from the United States Marine Corps. Larry had a second career as a manager with Circle K convenience stores for 27 years prior to his second retirement.

Larry was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 62 years, Yoneko Sullivan; his parents, John and Dorothy Sullivan; and his brothers, Terrence Sullivan and Richard Sullivan. He is survived by his children, Deborah Hodges of Jacksonville, Aiko Raynor and her significant other, Chris Ellis of Hampstead, and Eugene Sullivan of Wilmington; and grandchildren, Kayla Syfrette (Cody), Dylan Raynor, and Ethan Strazynski.
