SWANSBORO - Leslie Dorman Williams, 69, of Swansboro, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2:00pm at Jones Funeral Home-Swansboro with Rob Pate officiating. The family will be receiving one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Dorman and Armantean Williams; and his brother, Dewey Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Veda Williams of the home; his sons, Nathan Williams (Tara) of Garner and Matthew “Sparky” Williams (Natasha) of Hiddenite; daughter, Hollie Anne Bowers (Dusty) of Hiddenite; and six grandchildren; his brother, Andrew Wiliams (Barbara Sinclair) of Youngsville; step-children, Eric Hodges of Wilmington, Davis Hodges (Shanna) of Princeton; and three step-grandchildren; and “cat dad” of Mittens, Callie and Nancy.
