Cedar Point- Linda Theresa DeGuisto, 74, of Swansboro, NC, passed away on April 3rd, 2026.

Linda was born on November 12th, 1951, in Manhatten, New York to Theresa Scarola Orifici and Leo Robert Orifici.  She was preceded in death by her loving and dedicated husband, Edward C. DeGuisto Jr., of 16 years.

A Funeral service will be held Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Mildred Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Linda was known for her gift of hosting and bringing people together, her love for the Crystal Coast, family and friends. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Orifici and wife Sue, as well as her daughter, Terry Jansen Eubanks, husband Shawn, and her grandchildren Katlin Leonora Eubanks, Preston Harper Eubanks, and Josie Nicole Eubanks. Children by marriage are Edward C. DeGuisto III and wife Meg, Ronald J. DeGuisto and wife Eva, Madalene Hebrand and husband Anders, Kara Pearsall and husband RJ.  Additionally, Gee Horton and husband Mike, Tony Jansen, Clayton Jansen, Joby Jansen and wife Amanda.  She is blessed with many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren by marriage.

She was preceded in death by both of her loving parents as well as her sister Leonora Dugan.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends as well as communing with nature, especially time spent at the beach soaking up the sun and enjoying a good book. Her love and legacy of family will live on in all who knew her.
