Linda Stewart Gruenke (Piro), 73 wife of Scott Gruenke, of Stella, died at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport on June 30, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Centerview Baptist Church in Jacksonville with the Rev. Stan Budd officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Gruenke was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Fuller; her parents, Archie Piro and Catherine Fusco: brother, Arthur Piro and her step grandson, Quinton Gruenke.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Gruenke of the home; son, Scott Alan Stewart and wife Emily of PA; two stepsons, Douglas Gruenke and his wife Georgia of Illinois; Chad Gruenke of Nevada; one sister, three grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

Linda served her community and her country faithfully. She retired from Civil Service but continued to serve the church as a pre-school teacher, volunteer, and mentor to the young.

Linda Gruenke is now home with her Lord and Savior. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother (Nonna). She served in her church faithfully with the children whom she loved.
