It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lisa Lutz-Keys, age 64, of Jacksonville, NC, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare in Wilmington, NC.

A memorial service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held on April 3, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, NC. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather for a celebration of Lisa's life at Duck's Restaurant.

Lisa was born in Jacksonville, NC, and was lovingly adopted by John and Truda Lutz. She grew up with her twin brother, David, who preceded her in death. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Luke Keys, and a circle of close friends who were like family, including Melanie Frank, Betty Legan, Debbie Flores, and Robin Levin and so many others. She is also survived by her godchildren, Matt, Evan, and Lauren.

Throughout her life, Lisa's passion for jewelry and her dedication to Brynn Marr Jewelers, a family-owned business that has been a cornerstone of the community for 65 years, was her greatest joy. Lisa loved helping clients create unforgettable moments, whether selecting a diamond ring for a fiancé, a ruby necklace for a loved one, or any other special occasion. Her kindness, knowledge, and radiant spirit made each experience personal and memorable.

Lisa was a Valedictorian, she played classical piano, and loved to cook. She Loved, loved cats but mostly she loved people!!

Later in life, Lisa was blessed with meeting her birth mother Lenore, and six wonderful half siblings: Jill, Ephraim, Dovy, Shira, Josh and Arie, whom she loved very much and was one of God's best blessings for Lisa!

Lisa will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of warmth, love, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of working with her.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you perform random acts of kindness to anybody you know going through cancer! It will mean more than you know!
