JACKSONVILLE  -  Lois Marie Williams Young, 80, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 while surrounded by her family at her home.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, November 20, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by parents, Cater and Verna Williams; brother, Lamm Williams; sisters, Louise Maready, Lannie Rawls; and a daughter, Shirley Marie Noble.

She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 40 years, Otis Young; children, Sheldon Kaye Smith (Kane Hobbs), Sheila Faye Fisher (Joey), Buddy Brown, Sandy Gaskins (Raymond Banks), Steven Young and Scott Young; grandchildren, Jeana, Jason, Jody, Jami, Anthony, Lexie, Jordan, Kaley, Dustin, Ashton, Courtney and Kylie; eleven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lucy Carrington, Ludy Rochelle and Lucille Smith.
