JACKSONVILLE  -  With great sadness the family announces the passing of Lora B. Pierce who left this world on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the age of 71. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel, with Pastor Drew Parker officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Family Cemetery.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  Born August 24, 1954 in Jacksonville, NC, Lora was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Crim.  She is survived by her husband, Cyrus Ray Pierce; son, Cyrus T. Pierce; daughter, Lori Joseph; and grandchildren, Jamison and Emma Joseph and Padmae and Dechlan Collins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
