Sneads Ferry-Louis Walker Thomas III, 75, passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side at home on November 8, 2025. Louis was born on July 8th,1950 in Jacksonville, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Audrey Thomas of Verona, NC, his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Edens Thomas, brother-in-law Timmie Edens, and son-in-law George Ennis.

He is survived by his children, Tracie Thomas Hollis (Eddie) and Walker G. Thomas (Christy), his partner Anita Woods, and bonus daughter Tennille King (Jerry), his sister Susan Jacobs (Brian) and brother William Thomas (Barbara), sister-in-law Gail Mulligan (Nicky), brother-in-law Donnie Edens (Nancy), and sister-in-law Angie Edens.

Pa had 3 grandchildren, Joshua Thomas, Alexandria Lingle (Scot), Mollie Thomas, and 2 bonus grandchildren Aaron King and Ivey Edens. He also had 5 great-grandchildren, Gabe, Eli, Luke, Jaylah, Mackenzie, and 3 bonus great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jak, and LJ.

A riverside service will be held at Sneads Ferry Marina, 121 Hall Point Rd, Sneads Ferry, NC at 2 pm on Sunday, November 16th. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Sneads Ferry Community Center.
