HUBERT  -  Louise Lane Horne, 89, of Hubert, died Friday, December 19, 2025 at Carteret General Hospital.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Queens Creek Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in Queens Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Horne, was a longtime resident of Hubert and member of Queens Creek Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Horne; daughter and son in law, Debi and Robert Peterson; son in law, Knute Mlott and grandson, Patrick Mlott.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Horne and daughter, Karen Mlott both of Hubert; grandson, Brian Horne of Hubert; granddaughter, Ashley Henley and her husband, Bobby of Chesnee, SC along with their children, Liam and Lily Henley; grandson, Ryan Mlott and his wife, Laura of Clayton; granddaughter, Holly McDonald of Palm Coast, FL and her children, Landen Congialosi and Miles McDonald.

The family will receive friends Monday morning beginning at 10:00 AM at the church, prior to the service.
