HUBERT  -  Lucille "Lucy" Kerl Rackley, 79, of Hubert, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.  Memorial services will be held at a later date in New York.

Lucy was beloved by her family and friends. Ever supportive and generous, Lucy always made time to talk with her family and share advice. Her calm presence and gentle wit will be missed. We will remember her many talents and hobbies including crocheting and reading.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Kerl.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Royal Rackley of the home; daughter, Crystal Weiss and her husband Randolph of New York; son, Kenneth Rackley, Jr. and his wife Debbie of New York; sister, Marilyn Cambier and her significant other Bruce Jankowski of New York; brother, Melvin Scheer and his wife, Dorothy of New York; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
