JACKSONVILLE  -  Luther Marion Warren, Jr., 88, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Onslow Memorial Park.

Mr. Warren was born March 20, 1938, in Nash County, North Carolina to the late Addie Dement and Luther Warren, Sr.

He served 3 years in the United States Marine Corps as a Motor Vehicle Operator.

After his time in the service, he began his career as a Firefighter, retiring after 20 years.

Survivors include his daughters, Sherrie Simmons and Angela Renee West; sister, Elizabeth Murken; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, April 16, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.
