RICHLANDS  -  Marcus Shawn Futrelle, 47, of Richlands, died Monday, April 11, 2022 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home, Richlands Chapel with  Stan Tynch officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday morning at the Beddard Family Cemetery, Gregory Fork Road, Richlands.

Mr. Futrelle was born in Jacksonville to the late Milton and Ruby Pittman Futrelle.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Darren Drake Estes.

He is survived by his wife, Thersea Beddard Futrelle of the home; two children, Kemberly Dadisman and Thomas Estes; sister, Sherry Hines of Richlands; brother, Martin Futrelle (Karen); and four grandchildren, Alyiah Torres, Richard Dadisman, Dakelyn Huber and Aiden Torres.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, prior to the service, from 6:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
