JACKSONVILLE  -  Margie Ann Newbold Ferrell, 79, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Monterey, TN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the mausoleum chapel at Onslow Memorial Park with Rev. Jack Marshburn officiating.

Ms. Margie was a personal banker with First Citizens Bank for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Lee Ferrell, Sr.; along with her brother, David Newbold and his wife, Lorraine;  David's son, Zack and his wife, Delma Newbold.

Survivors include her daughter, Angela Cutler and her husband, Stephen, her son, Weldon Lee Ferrell, Jr.; his daughter, Carlee Foresman and son, Christopher Maney; her brothers, Jimmy Newbold and Roger Newbold and his wife, Alice (their children Susan Williams and Berry Newbold); her nieces, Teri Ann Newbold and Sophia Marshburn and husband, Jack; her nephews, Rodney Newbold and his wife, Velvet and David Newbold; other grandchildren include Hayley (Ivan) Do, Savannah Cutler, Brandon and Whitney Morton, and other great-grandchildren.
