Jacksonville – Maria Eileen (Roussel) Russi, 67, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away on March 13, 2026, at her home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Maria was born on January 4, 1959, in Jacksonville, North Carolina to the late Raymond Roussel and Elsie Arant Roussel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Courie Russi and brothers, Ronald Michael Roussel, René Conrad Roussel, and Paul Roussel.

She is survived by her husband, John Russi; children, John Henry Russi, Jr., and Janice Irene Russi; grandchildren, Briella Noelle Doyle, Claire Marie Clemmons, and Christopher Lee Clemmons, Jr.; siblings, Robert "Bobby" Michael Roussel and Joel Raymond Roussel; sister and brother-in-laws, June Russi Taylor and John Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
