Hubert- MariaAnn "Dee" Durkin Coston, 68, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 15,2025. She was born August 13,1956 in Jersey City, NJ a daughter of the late John C. Durkin and Marie Portas Amberson.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Dee was an LPN and enjoyed helping her patients feel the best they could. Dee's pastimes included toiling in her flower garden, listening to music while working, and enjoying the love of living in the local area near the water.  She loved to spend time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Ray Coston of the home; siblings, Gordon and Robert Durkin both of NJ, Dianne Meade of Swansboro, and Jacqueline Durkin of Stella; nephews and nieces, Ian, Michelle, Nicole, Russell, Jeffrey, Angela, and Tanya.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John R. Durkin and stepfather, Merrill "Jersey" Amberson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
