Marie Kennedy Nobles Foy, 88, passed away on August 30, 2025. Marie was born March 11, 1937, to the late Julie and Bland Kennedy. In life she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her younger years she worked as a secretary at Jenkins Gas Company. She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Norwood "Mick" Kennedy, James Kennedy, sister, Betty Mohn, her husbands, Douglas Nobles, Sr., and Edward L. Foy Sr.

She leaves behind her son; Douglas Nobles (Sandra) of Jacksonville, NC, daughter; Phyllis Faulkner (Paul) of Comfort, NC, stepsons; Edward Foy, Jr. (Theresa) of Jacksonville, NC, David Foy of Goldsboro, NC, stepdaughter; Janet Leach (Dan) of Fayetteville, NC, and two special daughters by heart, Carrey Albrecht and Vivia Nadeau, brother; Linwood "Dink" Kennedy (Patricia) of Riegelwood NC, sister; Dottie Swinson (Hardy) of Jacksonville, NC, grandchildren; Brad Faulkner (Laurie), Kristina Nobles, Joel Nobles (Ashley), Buddy Foy (Autumn), Holly Shepard (Richie), Christopher Foy (Dayana), Kimberly Patawaran (Joe), Tyler Currin (Erin), great grandchildren; Ashlyn Faulkner, Amber Faulkner, Kaydence, Emma, Justin Foy, Ryan Foy, Bradley Shepard, Kelly Shepard, Dylan Patawaran, Jacob Patawaran, Layla Nobles, Axel Nobles, Amiyah Nobles, Olivia Foy, Emilia Foy, Grayson, Evie, and Lyla; and many loving nieces and nephews. She has a multitude of special friends that considered her a mother, grandmother, or sister.

Visitation will be held on September 4, 2025, at 9 am at The Church at Onslow, 1351 Pony Farm Road, Jacksonville, followed by a funeral service at 10. Graveside to follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
