Swansboro- Marilyn Carol Aulich, 99, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 5, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born March 5, 1927, a daughter of the late Hugo and Ruth Peterson Larson.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Marilyn was a hostess at restaurants and loved to make sure patrons started their meals off with a smile.

She is survived by children, Roxie Weaver (Robert) of Davis, CA, Terry Bloom (Tammy) of Bar Harbor, ME, and David Bloom of Cape Carteret, NC; grandchildren, Alexis, Nicole, Sierra, Deanna, and Josh; and great grandchildren, Sumner, Penn, Esma, Porter, and Lorenzo.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Larson and her husband, Julian Aulich.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
