Jacksonville – Marjorie Elizabeth Rivenbark, 97, of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away on May 20, 2026, at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Ms. Rivenbark was born on January 19, 1929, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late Alphonso Brown Petteway and Elizabeth Wells Petteway. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle Rivenbark and brothers, John Petteway and AB Petteway.

She is survived by her children, James “Jim” Rivenbark (Deborah) and Joanne Baxter; grandchildren, Brian Rivenbark (Maria), Matt Rivenbark (Alice), Michael Casper, and David Casper; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Austin, Victoria, Kelly, Jackson, and Nellie.
