Mark A. Bowling, 47, of Jacksonville, died in peace on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Mark was a son of the late Lois Bowling. His father, Harry Bowling, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Bowling is survived by his wife, Robin Bowling of Jacksonville; his brother, Scott Bowling (Emma) of Savannah, GA; three step-children and three grandchildren.

Mark was an entrepreneur, he loved the Lord and his family. He was a very generous man. He was a White Oak High School graduate and obtained an Associates Degree in Funeral Service from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, IN, before becoming a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.

A memorial service will be 3 pm Friday, in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Pastor Brian Mann officiating.
