Mark Wayne "Wolfman" Earl

November 27, 1961 – August 6, 2025

Mark Wayne Earl, affectionately know as "wolfman", passed away peacefully at his home on August 6, 2025, at the age of 63. Born November 27, 1961, in Syracuse, New York, Mark spent his later years in Richlands, North Carolina, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.

Mark married the love of his life, Elisabeth, in 1988. Together they shared 37 beautiful years of marriage, raising a family that was his greatest pride. He was the devoted father of his sons Paul Collins, Jacob Earl, and Justin Earl, and daughters Kristina Collins and Jack Collins. His heart was fullest when surrounded by his grandchildren – Honestee, Janiah, Isabel, Jared, Lilly, Marko, Destinee, Brandon, Laila, Levi, and Liam – and his great-grandchildren, John and Ily, who brought him boundless joy.

Mark had a zest for life that was as big as his heart. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, especially on benefit rides where he could combine his passion for the open road with helping others. He found true happiness in time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – whether it was playing games, sharing stories, or simply being together. Mark had a gift for inspiring those around him, encouraging his loved ones to dream big, work hard, and live fully.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Frederick Earl, and brothers John and Scotty. He is survived by his mother, Margaret; sisters, Carla and Kelly; and brothers, Don and Mike. Mark's presence will be deeply missed, but the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will continue to guide and comfort all who knew him.

Services

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home,

A Celebration of Mark's Life will be announced soon when the details have been finalized.
