SWANSBORO  -  Mark Edward Whaley, 64, of Swansboro, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 16 from 5-8pm at the VFW Post 9960 in Cedar Point.

Mark was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and loved spending time playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luby and Daisy Whaley; his brother-in-law, Albert Beaujean; and his sister-in-law, Rose Whaley.

Survivors include his sisters, Jean Whaley Beaujean of Swansboro, Josephine Mitchell (Joseph) of Raleigh and Jeanny Johnston (David) of Four Oaks; and his brothers, Gary Whaley (Rhonda) of Fayetteville, Benny Whaley of Swansboro and Roger Whaley of Swansboro. He was loved by all of his nieces and nephews and by many friends.
