Swansboro-Martha Estelle Trott Beasley, has left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living on Oct. 9, 2013. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Rudolph Outlaw, Rev. Steve Petty and Rev. Tony Trott will be officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery in Maysville.
She was born March 14, 1928 near Deep Run in Lenoir County. Her family moved to Swansboro when she was a child.
She was preceded in death by her parents Zeb and Ader Brown, a great granddaughter, Katelynn Alexis Long and by a brother, John "Jack" Brown.
She is survived by a brother Morris Brown, Swansboro.
On August 14, 1948 she was married to John Trott until his death in 1985. She is survived by four children, Brenda Trott Long and husband Frank, of Maysville, Rev. Tony Trott and wife Linda, of Johnson City, TN, Phyllis Trott Gray, and husband Mike, of Swansboro, Pamela Trott Morton, and husband Emmett, of Swansboro. She is survived also by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren.
On January 10, 1992 she was married to Robert "Bob" Beasley until his death in 2001.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Beasley Theims and Husband Dennis, of GA.
Bob was a member of the Gideons International, a ministry that distributes Bibles around the world, and Estelle was a member of the Gideon Ladies' Auxillary.
She was privileged to have traveled to 48 states, Mexico and Canada.
She was a homemaker and a caring, loving mother. Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed...She was a charter member of Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church in Hubert. For 30 plus years she served in the church's prison ministry in Newport.
She loved her LORD, Jesus Christ. She is now in His presence.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. before the service at the church.
Donations may be made to Continum Hospice or Freedom Way Free Will Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro.
