Mary Bridget Barrett, 86, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Transition Life Care Hospice, Raleigh, NC.
A Funeral service will be held on 11:00am Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Infant of Prague Catholic Church. Father Gregory Spencer will be officiating and burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Ms. Mary was born in Bronx, NY and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Hanora Byrnes Waters. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Neil John Barrett.
Ms. Barrett is survived by five sons, Thomas Barrett of Pensacola, FL, Neil Barrett, Jr. and spouse, Jose of London, Eng., Kenneth Barrett and his wife Sharon of Aberdeen, NJ, Timothy Barrett of Jacksonville, NC and Brian Barrett and wife, Lori of Wilmington, NC; four daughters, Mary Morgan and husband, Robert of Tega Cay, SC, Noreen Wellborn of Chesterfield, VA, Ellen Barrett of Jacksonville, NC and Susan Barrett of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Patrick Waters of Florida; two sisters, Kathleen Cronin of Deltona, FL and Florence Lonerean and husband Pascal of River Vale, NJ; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
