Mary Jane Weaver Buchanan, 89, of Jacksonville, NC and formerly of Limestone, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at her home. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date this year at Mount View Cemetery in Olean, NY.

She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband; William James Buchanan; her parents, James Franklin and Anna Lucinda Kline Weaver; and siblings, Ethel Gould, Shirley Confer, Pearl Sloan, Aletta Buchanan, Martha Bailey, Delsie Wingard; Jacob Weaver and Jim Weaver.

Survivors include her daughters; Judy Hatch (Terry) of Franklinton, NC and Brenda Buchanan of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Lisa Hatch Moore of Johnsburg, IL, Rachelle Hatch Drummond of Elon, NC, Robert Hatch (Hayley) of Liberty, SC, Jay Roche of Jacksonville, NC, and Jodie (Carl) Clarkston of Jacksonville, NC; 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Miller of Lewis Run, PA, Norma Lee of Bradford, PA, and Linda (Jim) Barrett of Lewis Run, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
