JACKSONVILLE  -  Mary Lou Cook, 90, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, at Kempton of Jacksonville.

Born on December 16. 1934. Mary Lou was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her six children: daughter, Jeanette Lanvermeier of Jacksonville; daughter, Glenda Harris and her husband, Michael of Carlsbad, CA; son, Kenneth Cook and his wife, Jean of Virginia Beach VA; daughter, Theresa Kypke and her husband, Thomas of Jacksonville, FL; son, Ronald Cook and his wife, Maria of Orange Park, FL; and son, Glen Cook of Jacksonville, NC.

Marv Lou was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Billy Morrow, Molly Walsh, Regina Pierce, Brandon Pierce, Alex Cook, Dakota Cook, Austin Cook, Alessandro Cook, and Ryan Kypke; and thirteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Charlotte Williams and Linda Chinn.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glenn Lyle Cook.

Mary Lou will be remembered for her boundless love for her family and her generous. nurturing spirit.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date and time.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at Kempton of Jacksonville, who became like family and cared for Mary Lou with great compassion and kindness
