WILMINGTON  -  Mary Ann Chandler DeWilde, 83, of Jacksonville and Wilmington, passed away peacefully Monday, December 30, 2024, at her daughter's home in Wilmington.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Bewilder was preceded in death by her husband, Retired USMC, MSGT, Robert P DeWilde; and her daughter, Theresa DeWilde Monday of Wytheville, VA.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia DeWilde Pepper and son-in-law, Brian Pepper of Wilmington; son-in-law, Jody Monday, of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Kassie Grijalva, Derek and wife, Marissa VanSell, Emily VanSell, Trevor and wife Lauren Amis, Taylor Amis, and Savannah Monday; great-grandchildren, Mila, Laila, and Iverson Grijalva; Mason, Asher, Ember, and Colton VanSell; and many other family members in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Hope for the Warriors or Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
