Melissa Ann Swinson, 55, of Jacksonville, NC, passed away on May 21st, 2025, at her home.

Melissa (Honey Bee) was born on October 25th, 1969, in Jacksonville, NC. She loved her family, her cats, the beach, singing, and making people laugh. In past years, she was an announcer for a local radio station, accrediting her outgoing and spunky personality. She will be missed.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Dail McClain of Richlands.

Melissa is survived by her daughter Holly Bolster Hampton of Jacksonville; her father Edward Lee Swinson of Richlands; sisters Michelle Hollister of Jacksonville, Shayna Peed of Richlands; nephews Noah Whaley and Luke Hollister.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
